Too Cool For School

Today is Q's birthday and she got the most amazing present from her grandparents!! She got something called "DNA Wizard" and with this kit you learn about DNA structure, how to grow E coli, how to transform the E coli with green fluorescent protein, learn about cytology with FISH stained chromosome squashes, she can isolate DNA from fruits and analyze them. I don't know what else because I have not read the manual yet!

Its too cool for school cuz she would have never gotten this at school. Plus, I get to help her out. It doesnt hurt that my lab experience has used extensive molecular biology methods, this is gonna be fun!
